CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES and CHENNAI, INDIA — Indium, an AI-driven company backed by private equity giant EQT, has announced its acquisition of a majority stake in Experion Technologies.
While terms of the deal remain confidential, the strategic partnership combines Indium’s advanced data and AI capabilities with Experion’s product engineering expertise, creating a powerhouse in digital solutions.
Expanding global reach and capabilities
The acquisition expands Indium’s geographical footprint and increases its workforce to approximately 5,000 employees.
Experion, founded in 2006, brings to the table strong capabilities in product strategy, engineering, cognitive computing, platform engineering, and experience design. With a global clientele spanning North America, UK, Europe, Australia, and Japan, Experion has demonstrated impressive growth, boasting a 30% CAGR over the past four years.
