Infosys BPM opens 2nd Puerto Rico office, adds 325 jobs

AGUADILLA, PUERTO RICO and BENGALURU, INDIA — Infosys BPM, the business process management arm of Infosys, has inaugurated its second facility in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, marking a significant expansion of its operations on the island.
The new office, located at the Montana Industrial Park, represents an investment of US$200,000 and is supported by the Puerto Rico Economic Incentive Fund, allocated by the Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC).

The expansion is set to generate 325 new jobs, adding to the company’s existing workforce of 300 employees in Aguadilla.
This move is expected to contribute significantly to the local economy, particularly in the northwest region of Puerto Rico.
The new facility will enable Infosys BPM to enhance its capacity to serve clients across various industries, including aerospace, healthcare, insurance, financial services, and telecommunications.

It will create opportunities for local talent skilled in knowledge-based data processing and customer service.

The expansion has received strong support from local officials.

Meanwhile, Hon. Julio Roldan Concepcion, Mayor of Aguadilla, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are delighted to continue to host Infosys BPM and are confident that this new facility will contribute significantly to the local economy. As Infosys BPM continues to grow its footprint in Puerto Rico, the move is expected to solidify further the island’s position as an attractive destination for business process outsourcing and technology services.
