Infosys Public Services broadens footprint in Canada

BANGALORE, INDIA — Infosys Public Services (IPS), a North America-based subsidiary of multinational IT corporation Infosys, has announced the opening of a new Canadian subsidiary, Infosys Public Services Canada (IPS Canada).
Headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, with local offices in Mississauga, Calgary, and Burnaby, IPS Canada is poised to accelerate digital transformation for public sector organizations nationwide.
The establishment of IPS Canada is the latest in a series of expansions by Infosys in the country, marking the next phase of its over-a-decade-long presence. The company currently employs over 7,000 individuals in the region and is committed to expanding its workforce to 8,000 by 2024.
Interim CEO of Infosys Public Services, Bhanu Prasad Narayan, emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to modernizing service delivery for Canadian citizens and businesses.
“Our offices will enable us to tap into strong local talent across the country to support continued business growth in the region,” said Bhanu Prasad Narayan, Interim CEO, Infosys Public Services.
The new 10,000-square-foot Ottawa headquarters will provide managed services designed to meet stringent security requirements for various levels of government. IPS is renowned for its next-generation digital services and consulting, helping public sector organizations navigate digital transformation.
