Inherent Group acquires Inovacom to bolster SME digital services

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, and PARIS, FRANCE — Inherent Group, a business-to-business (B2B) cloud and connectivity provider, has acquired IT specialist Inovacom to strengthen its digital transformation services for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The acquisition, supported by private equity firm Keensight Capital, marks Inherent’s second strategic purchase in the area within months, aiming to consolidate its local market presence and service portfolio.
Inherent scales IT reach with Paris-region SME expertise
As a sovereign operator with 1,350 employees across France, Inherent Group serves as a critical local IT partner through its four brands—Adista, Devensys Cybersecurity, Unyc, and Upper-Link—delivering integrated telecommunications, cloud, and cybersecurity services.
With more than 50,000 clients served, the group generated over €350 million (approximately US$300 million) in revenue in 2025 and is well positioned to reach its €500 million (approximately US$430 million) target in 2027. This large-scale national presence and wide service base would give the company a strong foundation for partnering, ideally augmented by more specialized regional capabilities.
Inovacom, on the other hand, offers specific IT solutions to the agri-food, tertiary, and service industries through a special council of 30 partners and 20 technologists.
With a solid base of 250 contracted clients and a strategic presence at the Rungis wholesale market, the company offers responsive 24-hour support and intervention across Île-de-France and France.
Inherent expands Paris SME digital transformation push
The acquisition, published by Kneesight Capital, follows Inherent’s acquisition of managed services provider Everlink and Systonic, a specialist in sovereign cloud solutions, with the explicit goal of combining forces to achieve strong local coverage.
This approach will help the group serve the SME segment better by incorporating complementary rigor and establishing significant commercial partnerships.
The acquisition strengthens the physical presence in one of the major markets, where it already has 4 agencies and 330 employees.
As Pierre-Jean Beylier, President of the inherent group, notes, “This acquisition fully reflects our strategy of expanding our regional footprint while continuously enhancing our service offering. Inovacom’s expertise in IT solutions, combined with its strong network of VSEs and SMEs in the Paris region, represents a key asset in advancing our ambition to become the digital partner of choice for businesses across France.”
Inovacom adds managed IT, cloud, and telecoms for SMEs
The acquisition demonstrates a certain targeted approach to providing wholesome, personalized digital solutions to the SME market.
Inovacom is a company with about a decade of specialized experience assisting companies directly in their digital transformation, with a particular focus on the agri-food industry.
The company also provides a wide range of IT and telecommunications services, including managed services, hosting, cybersecurity, and telephony, consistent with Inherent’s one-stop-shop model.
This merger gives Inherent a better chance to offer solutions tailored to specific market segments by integrating Inovacom’s on-the-ground experience and IT expertise.
“This integration will enable us to further strengthen our service offering and enhance support for our clients within a group that shares our values, while preserving Inovacom’s DNA,” said Bruno de Matos, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Inovacom.
“Our clients will continue to benefit from what has defined our strength for nearly a decade: proximity, efficiency, and day-to-day commitment—the foundations of long-term, trust-based relationships.”
The integration will maintain this client-centric practice while increasing its support and resources through the larger, inherent group model.
