‘Inside Outsourcing’ book-turned-podcast explores global work trends

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The industry-recognized Outsource Accelerator Podcast has launched a special edition titled Inside Outsourcing Podcast Series, offering thousands of its listeners a chapter-by-chapter exploration of how global employment, remote work, and offshoring are reshaping the modern business landscape.
The podcast series is based on “Inside Outsourcing,” a book written by Outsource Accelerator Founder and CEO Derek Gallimore.
A deep dive into Inside Outsourcing
The launch comes at a time when companies worldwide are still redefining workforce strategies amidst hybrid work models and talent shortages. The podcast serves as a guide for leaders navigating a rapidly shifting employment environment.
The book that inspired the podcast series examines how outsourcing and remote work are no longer just cost-saving tactics but fundamental components of business scalability and competitiveness.
The book positions outsourcing as more than a cost-saving solution. It presents global employment as a strategic pathway to scalability, competitiveness, and access to world-class talent.
“Inside Outsourcing attempts to unravel the misconceptions about outsourcing, remote teams, global employment, and the future of work,” Gallimore said.
“This book is split into four parts… we start with high-level concepts of what work, employment, globalization, and networks are, and then we dive into actionable tactics and strategy for you and your business.”
Gallimore’s perspective reflects his two decades of experience building and managing global teams, during which he has consistently advocated for a more modern and realistic understanding of offshore staffing.
“Offshore staffing is transforming the way the business is done and it’s really important that you and your business don’t get left behind,” Gallimore added.
Expanding a leading industry podcast
The new podcast series forms part of the established Outsource Accelerator Podcast, widely recognized for its in-depth conversations with outsourcing leaders, founders, and industry analysts.
Listeners can expect weekly episodes that discuss managing distributed teams, structuring offshore operations, and leveraging global talent to scale efficiently —all for free.
Each Inside Outsourcing episode mirrors the book’s structure, beginning with Chapter 1.1: Evolution of Business, and explores ideas through commentary, case studies, and real-world examples from outsourcing hubs worldwide.
As outsourcing continues to evolve into a core component of global business strategy, this series helps position the practice as a long-term solution rather than a temporary cost measure.
With more organizations seeking borderless workforce strategies amid digital transformation, the podcast highlights the growing role of outsourcing in enabling companies to operate smarter, scale faster, and compete globally.
