Itm8 strengthens data analytics through Mind Your Business acquisition
HOVEDSTADEN, DENMARK — Danish IT services provider itm8 has acquired Mind Your Business, an Aarhus-based business intelligence (BI) firm. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The deal is part of itm8’s strategy to bolster its position as a strategic partner for data analytics, reporting solutions, and digital transformation.

Automating data-driven decision making for itm8
The Mind Your Business team’s expertise in data analytics will enable itm8 to provide more value to customers drowning in manual processes. As data volumes increase exponentially, companies can no longer rely on spreadsheets and manual data collection.
“As a manager, you don’t have time to wait for someone to manually collect data from last month from various spreadsheets and have it presented in a fixed graph. You need to be able to make decisions and to be able to go from an overview to being able to dive into the details, without first having to set an entire department in motion with a new analysis,” explained Henrik Kastbjerg, itm8 CEO.
“The specialized data analysis fits perfectly into our product mix. We already have specialist departments that work with building and optimizing databases and integrations between systems. Now we put the entire analysis part on top, which we can then match to the coherent infrastructure itm8 already builds and handles. It is a perfect match and a huge value creator for our customers.”
