Japan opens 100,000 jobs to Filipinos

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Japanese government is opening some 100,000 jobs to Filipinos, said Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Kazuhiko Koshikawa.
Koshikawa said that the jobs are in the fields of health care, outsourcing, tourism, and information technology.
He added that Japanese employers prefer Filipinos because of their hard work and dedication. Koshikawa describes Filipinos as “very reliable, talented, very amicable and [hospitable].”
Japanese media earlier reported a rise in job vacancies in the country in 2022 after lifting COVID restrictions. Jobs in Japan also pay more while providing a good working environment.
