KMS Technology acquires AI firm Addepto for global industrial push

GEORGIA, UNITED STATES, and WARSAW, POLAND — United States-based KMS Technology has acquired Addepto, an AI and data consulting provider, in a strategic move to consolidate advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities with global digital engineering scale.

In a press release, KMS Technology said that the acquisition merges Addepto’s specialized industrial AI expertise with KMS’s international delivery network, aiming to accelerate the deployment of production-ready, AI-driven solutions for enterprise clients worldwide.

Scaling innovation, engineering intelligence

KMS Technology has more than 10 years of experience and with over 1,100 professionals and operating on a global scale, the company believes in speeding up innovation to businesses by using AI-native engineering and its proven delivery model, and its work philosophy is rooted in the ability to transform bold ideas, which result in high-impact software, to grow both the businesses and communities sustainably.

On the other hand, Addepto has served the industry as an AI and data engineering consultancy since its 2018 founding, leveraging deep technical expertise to help global giants like BMW and Rolls-Royce transform complex data into actionable intelligence.

The firm’s 70-strong team delivers full-stack, tailored solutions that directly enhance operational performance and drive tangible business outcomes for its clients.

Fueling AI expansion for industrial sectors

KMS’s acquisition is an investment in Addepto’s proven AI proficiency and its established relationships with blue-chip clients in the industrial and automotive sectors.

This move recognizes the value of Addepto’s regional strength and technical ambition, leveraging them as cornerstones for broader international growth.

“Joining KMS Technology gives us the reach, resources, and global platform to scale faster than ever before — while staying true to our roots as an innovation-driven AI company,” said Artur Haponik, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder of Addepto.

“Together with KMS, we can bring even more value to our clients through stronger delivery capabilities, access to global resources, and an expanded portfolio of solutions.”

According to Addepto’s press release, the company will have direct access to KMS’s large network of enterprise clients in the United States and Asia-Pacific (APAC), as well as support from KMS investor Sunstone Partners, a private investment firm with $1.7 billion in capital.

This gives it the capability to expand, invest in research and development, and pursue larger and more complex international projects, which have completely changed its growth path.

Creating integrated, AI-first solution provider

Beyond scale, the acquisition is strategically focused on creating a uniquely integrated service model where AI and software engineering are inseparable from the outset.

The move combines Addepto’s deep specialization in AI modeling, data architecture, and machine learning operations with KMS’s mature, comprehensive software development and digital engineering capabilities.

KMS Technology’s CEO, Leo Tucker, stressed, “By combining KMS Technology’s digital engineering capabilities with Addepto’s advanced AI and data solutions and strong market presence, we are even better positioned to help clients accelerate digital transformation and create greater business impact worldwide, with an expanding direct presence across Europe, the Americas, and APAC.”

The resulting entity is expected to deliver full-scale, end-to-end, production-ready products with intelligence embedded throughout the product life cycle.

Addepto and KMS will offer comprehensive technological solutions that leverage data, AI, and engineering to drive even greater business impact.

This integration focuses on the evolving market needs for a smooth digital transformation, positioning the partnership to better assist clients in realizing the full potential of AI and machine learning within a consistent technical framework.
