Konecta to hire 3K students in Colombia

Multinational customer experience provider Konecta announced that they are opening more than 3,000 job vacancies for bilingual or trilingual high school and college students in Colombia.
The new hires will be put in customer service roles in the company’s insurance, financial, tourism, air transport, telecommunication, education, and retail sectors.
In addition, the company is also looking for applicants in bilingual operations management, bilingual training, CX leadership, bilingual project coordination, bilingual leadership, trainer, and quality and administrative roles.
The Spain-based firm disclosed that they will provide training programs to their new employees — particularly in service skills, sales, collections, and support.
Konecta Colombia President José Roberto Sierra said that they aim “to carry out strategies that impact the well-being of people, their families, and their environment to promote their sense of belonging and commitment to the organization.”
Salaries could run from minimum wage for Spanish-speaking jobs, while people who are fluent in three languages, including English, could earn between $1,800,000 to $3,300,000.
