KPMG, Gloplax partner on global capability

BENGALURU, INDIA — KPMG in India and offshoring specialist Gloplax have announced a strategic partnership to offer a comprehensive ‘Global Capability Center (GCC) as a Service’ model.
GCCs serve as centralized hubs managing diverse operations, from back-office tasks and business-support functions to IT support roles such as app development and IT infrastructure management. Many global corporations utilize GCCs for innovation, automation, analytics, and more.
The new collaboration will provide a suite of services, including strategy formulation, business case development, location planning, and designing the operating model.
Notably, the partnership will also oversee entity setup, infrastructure provisioning, and initiating operations while managing vital support functions such as human resources, finance, risk management, and recruitment.
Expected benefits from this innovative model include quicker market entry, reduced capital expenses, scalability, access to top talent, market insights, and expert consultations — all at costs comparable to traditional standalone GCC models.
The partnership aims to serve industries like Financial Services, TMT, Healthcare, ENR, Manufacturing, and Insurance.
Established in 1993, KPMG in India, affiliated with KPMG International Limited, provides services to a diverse domestic and international clientele.
Gloplax, established in 2019, assists global brands in setting up sourcing/offshore bases in India and the Philippines.
