Healthcare tech firm LaborEdge acquires staffing consultant CliniSight

MICHIGAN, UNITED STATES — LaborEdge, a provider of front-office software to healthcare staffing agencies, has acquired CliniSight, a consulting firm known for its specialized services in healthcare staffing.
The merger, finalized on January 2, marks a significant step in LaborEdge’s expansion strategy.
CliniSight offers a range of services, including healthcare credentialing, state nursing pool licensure, virtual assistance for outsourced hiring, and consulting and auditing for Joint Commission standards.
“CliniSight has been a LaborEdge partner for the past few years; we have been impressed with their client outcomes and are excited to include their offerings to our clients,” said Shail Arora, CEO of LaborEdge.
Future prospects and market impact
This acquisition is expected to strengthen LaborEdge’s position in the healthcare staffing market by integrating CliniSight’s expertise and proven success in credentialing and licensure consulting.
The combined capabilities of both companies will aim to provide enhanced solutions to healthcare staffing challenges, particularly in an industry grappling with staffing shortages and regulatory complexities.
CliniSight operates in several key markets across the United States, providing services that are critical to maintaining compliance and operational efficiency in healthcare staffing.
Leadership and operational continuity
Post-acquisition, Shari Dalton will assume the role of president and CEO of CliniSight, continuing her leadership trajectory from her previous position as president. Keahna Williams will maintain her role as COO. Adam Gomez, the former majority owner and CEO of CliniSight, will depart from the company.
While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, LaborEdge emphasized that CliniSight’s operational model and success are well-aligned with their growth objectives.
