Lean Staffing Solutions acquires CarParts.com Manila unit

FLORIDA, UNITED STATES, and MANILA, PHILIPPINES — CarParts.com has transitioned its captive Manila-based operations to Lean Staffing Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Lean Solutions Group.
The transaction, closed on January 27, 2026, is designed to streamline the automotive e-commerce firm’s focus on core United States initiatives while providing expanded growth pathways for the team in the Philippines.
“We are thrilled to welcome CarParts.com’s Manila team into Lean Solutions Group,” said Jack Freker, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lean Solutions Group.
Strategic focus on U.S. e-commerce growth
Its move to outsource its captive unit in Manila to Lean Solutions Group is intended to streamline operations for the California-based business.
This provides its leadership with room to reallocate resources and focus on its distribution channel in the U.S., investments in the supply chain, technology innovation, and customer experience (CX).
The sale of the operations of its Philippine subsidiary will enable CarParts.com to invest more in its mobile shopping experience and its brand portfolio, including JC Whitney and CarParts Wholesale, in its core market.
David Meniane, CEO of CarParts.com, said, “With the meaningful investments CarParts.com has made in proprietary tools, AI, and modern workflow systems, we are now able to operate more efficiently, streamline processes, and support our people with technology that reduces repetitive tasks and allows them to focus on work that draws on their skills and experience.”
Global BPO expansion and career development
Hundreds of employees across customer service, back office, finance, marketing, and technology in Manila are transitioning, representing a shift from a corporate subsidiary to a specialized global services provider.
Lean Solutions Group is a global business services provider delivering scalable, high-performance nearshore and offshore solutions across logistics, transportation, retail, e-commerce, and corporate support functions. With nearly 10,000 employees worldwide, it positions itself as offering broader long-term growth opportunities and deeper training resources than a captive unit within a focused e-commerce firm could provide.
Its subsidiary, Lean Staffing Solutions, Inc., will operate the Manila organization, including its teams across customer service, back office, finance and accounting, marketing, and technology.
The acquisition of 100% of CarParts.com’s (Philippines) issued and outstanding shares, and subsequent operation under a master services agreement, is framed as providing greater career mobility for the team.
Lean Solutions Group supports major international brands across various sectors, implying a more diverse internal landscape for advancement.
The two organizations have undertaken to ensure service continuity; that is, the team’s functions will be as important as ever. Nonetheless, they will now be supported by a parent company whose foundation business is scalable operational excellence.
“These individuals bring tremendous talent and experience, and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to deliver strong results,” said Freker.
