Major tech hub opens in Mexico’s border city

A major tech hub was recently opened in the Mexican border city of Tijuana, attracting American firms and tech professionals.
The facility, built by US-Mexico binational software firm iTjuana (ITJ), is easily accessible for individuals across the border and is only less than 30 minutes away from San Diego, California.
According to ITJ, the tech park will stimulate “innovation” activity and provide US companies with trained tech professionals from the Mexican nearshoring state of Baja California.
Baja California’s growing tech talent pool has helped ITJ’s client base to increase fivefold over the past three years at a lesser price. The bi-national company often claimed to offer IT staff for “a third of the price” compared to tech engineers in the United States.
Locally, ITJ has created over 700 tech jobs since it tapped into tech talents from Baja California.
