Meiho Ativo to buy Tokyo staffing firm Igial Holdings

TOKYO, JAPAN — Meiho Ativo Co. Ltd. (Meiho Ativo), a subsidiary of Meiho Holdings Co. Ltd. (Meiho Holdings), a construction company involved in human resources services, is set to acquire Tokyo-based staffing firm Igial Holdings for ¥562 million (US$3.8 million), effective February 1, 2024.
“In the future, we will strengthen our network with Meiho Ativo and other companies in the human resources services business segment, work to [stabilize] our management base, respond to future changes in the economic and social environment, and promote local employment and regional [revitalization],” Meiho stated.
Meiho Holdings provides construction services, including road maintenance and repair, disaster recovery, surveying, civil engineering, outsourcing, and other services.
Its HR arm is involved in the deployment of engineers. It also has a Long-Term Care unit that provides day service, outpatient care for dementia, and has home care support offices in Gifu City and Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture.
In October 2023, Meiho Group announced its acquisition of Hermit Co., Ltd. The following month, its subsidiary Meiho Extech, Inc. acquired Osaka-based construction company IMADA Construction Holdings Co., Ltd.
