Mia launches global AI upskilling platform for women

FLORIDA, UNITED STATES — Mission Impact Academy (Mia), a global AI school, has launched its Mia Learning Network (MLN) platform following a successful two-month beta phase involving women from 55 countries.
Co-founded by Tarja Stephens and Janna Salokangas, Mia’s goal is to upskill 1 million women in AI and unlock access to 100,000 jobs by 2030, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals’ focus on women’s economic empowerment.
“At Mia, we understand and embrace the immense potential of AI. We firmly believe that the evolution of AI represents the most remarkable technological advancement in recent history,” Stephens shared.
“The Mia Learning Network is where pioneering AI innovators, talent, and thought leaders from the world’s most innovative companies learn, innovate, and grow,” Salokangas added. “We rarely live in times like this where AI is unlocking new economic opportunities for millions of people globally, and Mia ensures that every woman is prepared to harness them.”
MLN offers a free range of resources, including micro-lessons, webinars, community events, and soon-to-be-launched intensive Global AI Leadership programs.
Founded in 2022, Mia is dedicated to empowering companies and non-technical women through education in AI and emerging technologies.
