Microsoft to develop AI-backed Bing

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Microsoft Corporation is reportedly looking to launch an artificial intelligence (AI) powered version of its search engine Bing.
According to a report by the technology news website The Information, the tech giant is planning to emulate the AI used behind OpenAI-launched chatbot ChatGPT.
Microsoft could reportedly launch the new feature before the end of March this year to compete with Alphabet-owned search engine Google
Last 2019, Microsoft backed OpenAI with $1 billion in funding. The two firms had formed a multi-year partnership to develop AI supercomputing technologies on Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing service.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT is a software application designed to mimic human-like conversation based on user prompts and can respond to a large range of questions while imitating human speaking styles.
