Midas BPO signs MOU for Linden expansion

Global contact center services provider Midas BPO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Guyana Office for Investment (Go-Invest) to ensure the company’s expansion in the mining town of Linden, Guyana.
With this latest expansion, Midas CEO Malcolm Sobers explained that it would generate about 50 to 75 jobs by October 1, increasing to 150 by year-end, and forecasted to reach 250 employees by June 2022.
Sobers expressed his appreciation to Senior Finance Minister and Go-Invest CEO Dr. Peter Ramsaroop for their quick response in his business expansion that shows the government’s serious commitment to the BPO industry.
Senior Finance Minister Dr. Ashni K. Singh also attended the ceremony to express the government’s support in the creation of employment in the ICT sector in Guyana.
