Modirum expands global reach with ITgma acquisition

HELSINKI, FINLAND — Technology firm Modirum has acquired a majority stake in ITgma, a software and IT services provider in Southeast Europe.
Modirum to boost business in three sectors
Announced on April 30th, the acquisition established Modirum as a platform company across diverse business sectors, including critical communications, finance, telecom, and energy.
With over two decades of experience, Modirum, is now poised for accelerated growth, primarily targeting the DACH region, Nordics, and other strategic markets.

For its Defense Sector Platform, it acquired a majority stake in the technology leader NSION Technologies, now under Modirum Security Technologies.
For its Industry Platforms business, it partnered with Finland-based Cloudriven Oy and North Macedonia-based WebFactory.
Additionally, the ITgma transaction focuses on the Industry Platform Sector as Modirum continues to harness its other evolving business units.

The communications and energy sectors have an addressable market value of €25 billion (US$26.9 billion). Modirum Platforms aims to tap this potential through strategic acquisitions that would drive sustainable growth in the AI-driven era.
Modirum, founded in 1997, is a 3-D Secure e-commerce authentication provider, as software and on SaaS model.
Its solutions include Access Control Server (ACS), Merchant Plug-in (MPI/3DS Server), SDK, Virtual Point of Sales Payment Gateway (VPOS), Fraud Scoring Server (FSS), Directory Servers (DS) and Mobile Applications for payment authentication.
