TEL AVIV-YAFO, ISRAEL — Monday.com is advancing a future where artificial intelligence actively performs work, not just manages it. According to Monday.com’s Co-founder and Co-Chief Information Officer (CIO) Eran Zinman, this represents a fundamental mindset change for customers, unlocking significantly greater value from the company’s products.

SiliconANGLE reports that this vision, detailed at the Elevate ’25 conference, is already being realized by enterprises such as PepsiCo and Instacart.

From task management to task execution

Monday.com is championing a fundamental evolution in the role of AI within workplace software. The technology is transitioning from a passive tool for an organization to an active participant that builds solutions and completes work.

This transformation is designed to fundamentally alter customer expectations and the very value derived from productivity platforms. Zinman stated that the company’s innovation pipeline is focused on “AI doing the work for you.”

He emphasized, “This is a mindset change for our customers because what they expect from our products can now fundamentally change. The value they can get out of the products is a hundred times more than what they could get in the past.”

This shift from manual configuration to automated creation is central to the new user experience. Instead of building custom solutions manually, users can now describe their business needs, and the AI generates the application instantly.

Zinman described this process, “Now you go into ‘magic,’ you just type in what your business needs, and then boom, it builds it for you with all the knowledge and expertise.”

Scaling businesses with AI-driven leverage

A second core idea is that AI provides a new form of operational scalability, allowing companies to grow without a linear increase in human resources.

This concept, termed “infinite leverage” by Zinman, means that businesses can scale their operations and efficiency primarily through software intelligence. This approach is being validated by real-world deployments at large, complex organizations, demonstrating tangible benefits across different industry sectors.

The platform is being used to reduce low-impact workloads, accelerate core operations, and drive measurable efficiency gains, illustrating the practical future of work.

To facilitate this scaling, monday.com is adopting a dual-pronged strategy to onboard customers at all stages of AI adoption. While half of its customers are already using AI, the company recognizes that many are still early in their journey.

To bridge this gap, it has introduced “Monday sidekick,” a simple AI assistant that integrates directly into existing workflows for easy adoption.

Zinman explained that the company builds specific go-to-market plans and new products for everyone from small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to enterprises, acknowledging a current market “transition phase” in which some companies are eager adopters while others are slower.

This transition of AI from a management tool to an active workforce signals a future where the very nature of work shifts from execution to strategic oversight.
