More Japanese investments coming to Pakistan – Ambassador

Numerous Japanese companies are interested in exploring Pakistan’s investment market, according to Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda.
This sentiment was shared by the ambassador during his meeting with Pakistan’s Secretary Board of Investment (BOI) Fareena Mazhar, along with several Japanese investors, last Tuesday.
During the forum, Mazhar assured the ambassador of their support in the increasing Japanese investment in the country. She added that the country has “numerous opportunities” open to foreign investors in Pakistan.
Matsuda hinted at Japan’s interest in investing in the food processing and automobile sectors, which are already the priority sectors of Pakistan in terms of incentives.
