TOKYO, JAPAN — NTT DATA, a global provider of digital business and technology services, has acquired EXAH, a Salesforce Consulting Partner and artificial intelligence (AI) specialist.
The acquisition strengthens NTT DATA’s presence in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), expanding its portfolio of Salesforce and AI-driven solutions in the region.
The company is ranked #24 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.

NTT DATA’s expansion program also involves Salesforce, which helps companies provide a personalized customer experience and automate their operations.
Such an acquisition will provide NTT DATA with additional resources to enhance its capabilities, engaging customers more closely by presenting them with a personalized image, automating processes, analyzing customer behavior, and providing more, thereby making it easier to make informed decisions and deliver better services to customers.
“This acquisition allows us to provide greater value to our clients by combining EXAH’s expertise with NTT DATA’s global capabilities and strategic partnerships,” said Alan Turnley-Jones, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NTT DATA in MEA, highlighting how EXAH’s reputation as a leading Salesforce partner complements NTT DATA’s existing capabilities.
With a long-standing partnership with Salesforce and over 3,500 successful projects globally, NTT DATA is well-positioned to leverage EXAH’s local technical expertise and further expand its Salesforce ecosystem across the MEA region.
This will be a crucial acquisition in ensuring that customers in the region are provided with locally relevant solutions, while also enabling NTT DATA to offer them global resources and innovations.
“Delivering exceptional customer value through innovation is our founding principle, and we’re proud to join NTT DATA’s global team to drive ever-growing value for our clients and partners across the African market and beyond,” said Tiaan le Roux, Managing Director of EXAH.
NTT DATA’s expansion through local expertise, partnerships
The strategy of NTT DATA is closely tied to the development of its cloud-based customer engagement solutions, and the acquisition of EXAH is particularly significant in this context. The two of them can offer better customized solutions that address the increasing needs of customers in the area.
This takeover is a show of NTT DATA’s commitment to developing local talent. In this effort, NTT DATA has launched a young talent initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of Salesforce experts.
This effort, along with strategic acquisitions of Apisero and now EXAH, ensures that NTT DATA is well-positioned to be at the forefront of technological integration and continues to introduce customer value through innovation and local expertise.
“Together, we are committed to meeting our clients’ needs with innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement and drive business growth,” Turnley-Jones noted.
