NTT Data, Neysa Networks announce $1.2Bn Hyderabad AI center
TOKYO, JAPAN — NTT Data, a global provider of digital business and technology services, has announced plans to develop a massive artificial intelligence (AI) data center campus in Hyderabad, India, partnering with Indian GPU cloud firm Neysa Networks and the Telangana government.
The tripartite agreement, signed in Tokyo last week during a visit by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, commits an investment of Rs 10,500 crore (approximately $1.2 billion) to build the country’s most powerful AI supercomputing infrastructure.
400MW campus to house 25,000 GPUs
The upcoming Hyderabad facility will feature a 400MW data center cluster equipped with 25,000 GPUs, positioning it as India’s largest AI compute infrastructure. This cluster aims to support both public and enterprise AI workloads and will be powered through a mix of grid and renewable energy sources, with a capacity of up to 500MW.
The project is designed to foster AI talent by collaborating with Telangana’s academic institutions and will incorporate advanced technologies like liquid immersion cooling for energy efficiency.
Chief Minister Reddy highlighted the state’s advantages, stating, “Telangana offers policy stability, strategic location advantages, reliable and high-quality electric power, skilled talent, and quick clearances through our single-window system to foster critical AI infrastructure and make the state a leader in AI-related digital services.”

NTT Data and Neysa Networks: Global reach and AI expertise
NTT Data, headquartered in Tokyo, is among the world’s top three data center providers, operating more than 150 facilities and employing nearly 193,500 people across over 50 countries. The company reported consolidated net sales of 4,367.4 billion yen (about $30 billion) for the fiscal year ending March 2024.
NTT Data offers a wide range of services, including consulting, IT modernization, managed services, and business process solutions, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100. It ranked #24 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
Meanwhile, Neysa Networks, based in Mumbai, is an AI-first cloud platform company focused on democratizing access to advanced AI technology. The company provides GPU cloud services, including access to Nvidia H100s and L40s, and has raised around $50 million to date.
Hyderabad: India’s fastest-growing data center hub
The new NTT Data–Neysa facility joins a wave of billion-dollar data center investments in Telangana, with global players like AWS, STT GDC, HCLTech, and Cognizant also expanding in Hyderabad.
NTT already operates or is developing over 18 data centers across India, totaling more than 265MW in cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.
The Hyderabad data center market is projected to triple in capacity by 2031, according to Mordor Intelligence.
