Outsource Group appoints new chairman
Cyber security and IT managed services company Outsource Group recently appointed Patrick McAliskey as its new chairman of the board as part of the firm’s transformational expansion plan.
The announcement comes after Outsource merged its operations with IT security consulting firm ANSEC IA.
Outsource Group CEO Terry Moore said that McAliskey appointment is central to their plan to be the “number one security-focused IT managed services business” in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
He added that new leadership “both validates our existing development plans but also provides us with the sector’s most experienced and proven leader to support us over the longer term.”
McAliskey founded Novosco and grew it into one of the UK’s most respected IT managed service providers before selling it to an international PLC in 2019.
Moore disclosed that the next phase of their expansion strategy includes fast-tracking “our growth by acquiring more brilliant businesses that complement what we do, and to ramp up our recruitment by creating a workplace that is a magnet for the very best talent.”
