Outsourcing Inc. revenue up 13.2% in Q1

TOKYO, JAPAN — Staffing firm Outsourcing Inc. announced a 13.2% increase in its revenue to JPY 175.8 billion (US$1.29 billion) for the first quarter of 2023.
In a press release, the firm revealed that its domestic engineering outsourcing business experienced a notable 14.4% year-on-year growth in segment revenue, while the domestic manufacturing outsourcing business saw a 13.1% increase.
Its overseas engineering outsourcing business also reported a revenue increase of 12.4%
On the other hand, Outsourcing Inc.’s domestic service operations outsourcing business faced an 8.7% decline in revenue, while other business segments experienced a significant decrease of 78.6%.
Looking ahead, Outsourcing Inc. expects a revenue target of JPY 770.00 billion (US$5.66 billion) for 2023.
The company’s shares closed at JPY 1,409 (US$10.38), reflecting a 2.22% decline for the day. With a market capitalization of JPY 163.71 billion (US$1.20 billion), Outsourcing Inc. continues to navigate the evolving staffing and outsourcing landscape.
