Perficient acquires Overactive
Digital consultancy transforming company Perficient announced the acquisition of nearshore software development firm Overactive.
Perficient Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Davis said that the new company addition provides them “more software and digital development talent offshore than onshore.”
Davis added that Overactive’s highly skilled employees will enable Perficient’s clients to “scale quickly, innovate rapidly and reduce costs to better meet rising customer demands, transform their business, and outpace the competition.”
The acquisition will expand Perficient’s Latin American presence in nearshore software development locations in Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile.
Overactive CEO Nicolás Chiappara said that the partnership will bolster their company’s “software development services.”
The newly announced acquisition is not reflected in Perficient’s existing 2021 revenue or earnings guidance and is expected to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share immediately.
