Japan HR giant Persol invests in AI platform developer AuthenticAI

TOKYO, JAPAN — Japanese staffing firm Persol Holdings has invested in AuthenticAI, a generative AI platform developer based in Tokyo.
This partnership, facilitated by Persol Venture Partners, aims to enhance the capabilities and reach of AuthenticAI’s flagship product, MaisonAI.
While financial specifics remain undisclosed, the collaboration aims to integrate advanced AI technologies within business operations.
Persol and AuthenticAI: Pioneering future AI applications
The investment by Persol is set to turbocharge technological advancements and market expansion efforts for MaisonAI.
“Through this support, we will further accelerate our technological development and market expansion, and strive to deliver advanced AI experiences to more people,” said AuthenticAI Representative Director Toru Ueda.
“In the future, including in collaboration with Persol, we will continue to take on the challenge of expanding the use of AI in various industries and fields.”
AuthenticAI’s platform, MaisonAI, is designed to interlink various generative AI models with a company’s organizational structure, ensuring seamless integration from setup to daily use.
The platform supports a range of functions, from strategic AI model selection to ongoing operational support, and has already facilitated substantial efficiency improvements and new business opportunities for its users.
Expanding impact and capabilities
AuthenticAI has seen impressive usage statistics for MaisonAI, with over 50 companies and 8,000 individual users engaging with the platform.
The platform has processed 2.1 billion characters and generated 1.2 million images, alongside creating 2,900 AI agents.

Persol Holdings, established in 1973 and a comprehensive HR solutions provider, reported a revenue of 1,327.1 billion yen in the fiscal year ending March 2024. The company continues to evolve its offerings, ranging from staffing services to innovative employment solutions like the part-time job app “Sharefull.”
