Personal Health Tech secures funding for Kensapo expansion

OSAKA, JAPAN — Personal Health Tech has secured an additional ¥300 million (US$1.9 million) in a Series A extension round, fueling the expansion of its corporate health management service, Kensapo.
The Bridge reports that the investment from a consortium of four firms brings the total Series A funding to ¥800 million (US$5.2 million) and accelerates the platform’s development and market reach.
The company offers tailor-made solutions, such as Kensapo, that support corporate health programs through services including health checkup management, data processing, and secondary exam services.
Market validation through rapid adoption
This funding is enabled by Kensapo’s proven market momentum: 1,023 firms have adopted it since its market launch in August 2022.
A notable trend is the rapid increase, which has sparked known demand among companies for streamlined, technology-based solutions in employee health management.
This validation is further evidenced by the diverse profile of the investing consortium, which includes SIIFIC Wellness Fund, NTT Docomo Ventures, Central, and Louis Boston.
Its low-cost pricing system, which began at only ¥100 (US$0.65) per individual per month, has been another major factor behind its widespread adoption in the corporate world.
This low entry level effectively reduces the entry barrier for firms determined to adopt structured health management programs, which illustrates the product’s fit.
Integrated tech as a core differentiator
A central pillar of Kensapo’s strategy is its proprietary AI engine, which directly addresses the fragmentation of employee health data. This technology integrates disparate data sources, including traditional health check results and modern wearable device metrics, to create a unified health profile.
The system then visualizes individual risks for lifestyle diseases, providing a comprehensive view that was previously difficult for employers to assemble.
The platform’s core strength lies in its dual approach of combining the “Logsil” health management system with outsourced business process operations. This model provides personalized health advice to employees by automating processes while also addressing manual tasks such as data entry and appointment scheduling.
Through this cohesive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and business process outsourcing (BPO) product, Kensapo addresses the operational complexities that have long affected corporate health management, making technology the key enabler of scalable preventive care.
