PEZA to provide 17k jobs through virtual job fair
Amid the pandemic and strict quarantine restrictions, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) is looking to provide over 17,000 job opportunities to Filipinos through its virtual job fair.
PEZA’s job fair was powered by talent solutions platform WorkBank Philippines, Inc. Workbank has listed 17,500 job vacancies with 60 companies offering job opportunities. Most of the active companies are in the outsourcing and call center industry, information technology, manufacturing, and transport, and logistics. Workbank has also logged over 22,500 applicants from January to March 2021 alone.
The initiative is in line with PEZA’s Development Outreach for Labor, Livelihood, and Advancement (DOLLAR) program.
