PEZA, Viventis partner to boost Philippine ecozone employment

PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES — The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has partnered with Viventis Search Asia to spur job growth and attract investments in economic zones across the Philippines.
Signed last October 19, their Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) under PEZA’s Ka-PIPPs program aims to enhance workforce skills and human resources within Philippine economic zones.
Viventis is a human capital solutions provider and consulting firm based in Southeast Asia. With over 20 years of experience in talent solutions, Viventis will provide PEZA with insights on job market trends and skill demands.
The partners plan to make the Philippines more appealing to new businesses and generate employment opportunities.
“We are thrilled to partner with PEZA to move the country to a more strategic and valuable direction in creating programs focused on bringing career opportunities from investors coming in and advocating skills building,” said Viventis Executive Director Yu Ming Chin.
PEZA Director General Tereso Panga emphasized the partnership’s role in job creation and improving ecozone workers’ skills. He highlighted the Philippines’ strengths for investors, like its many graduates and English proficiency.
Future joint initiatives include job fairs, innovation forums, and skills training. Viventis will share industry insights, while PEZA will aid Viventis in finding investment locations.
The MOA signing at PEZA headquarters signals a commitment to boosting the Philippines’ global market position. Witnesses included PEZA Deputy Director General for Policy and Planning Anidelle Joy Alguso and Viventis Senior Director Leah Cendaña.
