PH, France to discuss potential deals in six sectors
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez met with the newly-appointed French Ambassador to the Philippines Michèle Boccoz to explore trade and investment deals in aerospace, electronics, shipbuilding, clean energy, agribusiness, and healthcare, between the two countries.
Philippines and France will hold further discussions regarding these potential deals in the scheduled Joint Economic Commission to be held in Q2 2021.
Further, Lopez encouraged France to take advantage of the opportunities in the country’s free trade agreement (FTA) network, adding that he looks forward to a “strong collaboration” with the French ambassador.
