The Philippines is expecting the delivery of 13.3 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines in July, said vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr.
Galvez said the country is looking forward to receiving 5.5 million doses of Sinovac, 1,17 million doses of AstraZeneca, 250,800 doses of Moderna, and 500,000 doses of Pfizer.
This is in addition to the four million doses expected from COVAX, 800,000 to one million doses from the US government, and 1.1 million doses donated by the Japanese government that are expected to arrive in the country.
As of June 27, over 10 million COVID-19 vaccines had been administered and more than 2.5 million individuals were already fully vaccinated by the Department of Health.
