PH receives J&J and Sinovac vaccines

The Philippines received over 1.6 million doses of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine and 1.5 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine over the weekend.
Government officials welcomed the latest batch of vaccines which arrived last Friday and Saturday consecutively at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
The latest shipment brings to a total of over 24 million COVID-19 vaccine doses received by the Philippines from different manufacturers since February this year.
The country now has six different brands of COVID-19 vaccines in its supply inventory, including CoronaVac from China’s Sinovac, AstraZeneca from the UK, Sputnik V from Russia’s Gamaleya, and Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J vaccines from the US.
