PH targets to finish vaccine rollout, reach herd immunity by 2023

The Philippines is aiming to complete its COVID-19 vaccination program and achieve herd immunity by 2023, as stated by Health undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire. The government targets to vaccinate up to 70 million people this year.
However, Vergeire said that reaching herd immunity before 2023 is likewise possible.

The Philippines is set to launch its COVID-19 immunization next week as it receives its 117,000 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech jabs may arrive on Feb. 13, Saturday.
