PH to offer online courses to entrepreneurs
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC), the training arm of the Philippines’ Department of Trade and Industry, has announced its partnership with two firms to provide Filipino entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital economy.
Together with Proxtera of Singapore and Globe Telecom, the PTTC will offer online courses to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
PTTC emphasized the significant role of online education in developing the country’s workforce and entrepreneurs.
The digital economy has enabled the distribution of services that were once deemed impossible, such as home delivery of groceries by simply ordering online.
