Philippines offers 15K jobs in customer service sector

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Philippine Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry is on an upward trajectory as over 15,000 customer service roles are currently open for job seekers.
According to data from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bureau of Local Employment (BLE), the bulk of these vacancies are for call center agents (8,077), customer service assistants (7,691), and executive assistants (3,700).
In addition, the market shows a need for production workers and machine operators, with 3,282 and 1,905 openings, respectively.
BLE’s data came from various nationwide databases, including the Public Employment Service Office-Employment Information System and the PhilJobNet online portal, which connects job-seekers with potential employers.
A leader in the global outsourcing market, the Philippines offers plentiful job opportunities for individuals with strong communication skills. The current surge in openings demonstrates the ongoing expansion of the country’s BPO industry.
