Power Staffing Solutions acquires Hourglass HR
TORONTO, CANADA — Industry-leading staffing partner Power Staffing Solutions recently acquired Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) firm Hourglass HR.
In a statement, Power Staffing Solutions said that this deal would allow them to expand their footprint across Canada.
The Hourglass HR team has been finding top healthcare, IT, and engineering talent for Canadian organizations from their Ottawa headquarters.
“Not only is Hourglass HR keenly focused on the same sectors and services we are in, [but they also share] our uncompromising passion for excellence. Their tenacity, drive, and integrity make them a natural fit with our culture,” said Power Staffing Solutions Managing Partner Saye Sathiyakumar.
With this takeover, Hourglass HR Co-founder Mark Cohen has been newly appointed a Vice President role at Power Staffing Solutions. Meanwhile, Jonathan Cohen will remain at Hourglass HR and head the business as the new Director of Operations.
