Qualfon hosts on-site vax in Negros Oriental

A total of 227 employees of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm Qualfon received the COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday, becoming the first private firm to host an on-site inoculation rollout in Negros Oriental.
In an interview with the Philippine News Agency, Qualfon Philippines Community Relations Director Joslyn Canon said that they will continue to organize a series of on-site vaccination activities for their employees following an arrangement with the Provincial Health Office (PHO).
Canon added that they will have twice-a-month on-site vaccination to accommodate its 3,500 employees.
Assistant Provincial Health Officer Dr. Liland Estacion led the mobile vaccination team together with Qualfon’s doctor, nurse, and staff.
Additionally, 19 non-Qualfon employees were accommodated by the PHO during the campaign.
Negros Oriental aims to meet the Department of Health’s directive to inoculate 25,000 people daily. Local health authorities are studying the possibility of house-to-house and campus vaccination to meet the daily quota.
