LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — Accounting and tax firms in the United Kingdom that lose capacity every busy season now have a fixed-price, fully managed tax preparation option from QX Global Group, which pairs artificial intelligence (AI) data extraction with more than 500 dedicated tax specialists.
The service, QX TaxReady, is available now ahead of the 2026/27 Self-Assessment season, with full pricing, security documentation and governance details available on request.
QX TaxReady pairs AI with four-eyed review
According to an announcement published in the Edinburgh Evening News, QX Global Group uses AI to extract and populate data from client documents, the manual, repetitive part of tax preparation.
Every return then moves through a four-eyed review process before it is delivered to the client firm for its own review, at one fixed price all year round, which the company positions against the surge pricing and opaque billing it says creep into traditional outsourcing.
The company claims the model automates 95% of data entry and delivers preparation costs more than 50% lower than traditional preparation models.
“UK accounting and tax firms have been stuck choosing between three imperfect options,” said Vijay Pahuja, group chief executive officer of QX Global Group.
Fixed pricing targets busy-season surge costs
QX TaxReady is aimed at sole practitioners and small firms, mid-tier firms facing busy-season capacity strain, and larger practices that require documented security, compliance and governance transparency.
The company’s data handling is independently certified to ISO 27001, with data privacy handled under ISO 27701 and quality management under ISO 9001.
QX Accounting Services says it supports more than 500 accounting firms across the U.K., the United States, Ireland and Canada and processes more than 25,000 tax returns annually.
“QX TaxReady ends the trade-off: returns move securely at AI speed, each one is reviewed and signed off by a dedicated tax team, and the price holds – whether it’s September or the 31st of January,” Pahuja said.
For firms comparing finance and accounting outsourcing options, the pitch moves the conversation from surge pricing to a fixed year-round rate, with a named person accountable for every judgment call on a return.
The launch shows an outsourcing provider using AI to absorb routine preparation while keeping human review at the center of its offer, a combination U.K. firms will weigh against in-house hiring before the January filing peak.
