Raya Contact Center’s profits dipped 61% in 2022
The consolidated earnings of Egypt-based outsourcing provider Raya Contact Center shrank by 61% to EGP 7.80 million (US$318,507) during the first nine months of 2022.
Raya’s latest report revealed that the company’s earnings per share (EPS) reached EGP 0.04 in 9M-22, compared to EGP 0.08 last year.
Meanwhile, the firm’s revenues amounted to EGP 848.26 million (US$34.7 million) as of September 30, up from EGP 561.36 million (US$22.9 million) in the same period in 2021.
As for the standalone results, the company turned to net losses of EGP 18.88 million (US$771,896) in the January-September 2022 period against profits of EGP 7.76 million (US$317,262) in the year-ago period.
During Q3 2022, Raya shifted to net losses of EGP 6.41 million (US$262,068) versus net profits of EGP 10.27 million (US$419,882) in Q3-21.
The company’s revenues totaled EGP 307.44 million(US$12.5 million) in Q3-22, compared to EGP 184.80 million (US$7.56 million) in Q3-21.
