Renewed Cognizant-Cambridge partnership advances ed tech

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — Major technology services provider Cognizant Technology Solutions (Cognizant) has renewed its agreement with the British educational institution and assessment body Cambridge University Press & Assessment. The two organizations aim to promote digital change and integrate artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities over the next five years.
Under the multi-year contract, Cognizant will continue furnishing application development assistance and IT support to Cambridge. The collaboration intends to boost the institution’s effectiveness, safeguard evaluation integrity, and sustain competitiveness as the education sector evolves.
In response to the rising demand for digital engagement and innovative products fitting diverse needs, the partners will transition the institution to a more product-centric model powered by AI.
New Jersey-based Cognizant, traded on major stock exchange NASDAQ, boasts over 300,000 employees globally and reported $19.4 billion in total 2022 revenue.
Cambridge is the world’s largest provider of international education programs and boasts 85% of its $1 billion-plus 2023 revenue originating overseas. It provides qualifications, assessments, academic publications, and original research to about 100 million learners across 170 countries.
By furthering Cambridge’s digital shift, the alliance with Cognizant aspires to positively impact millions more students worldwide. The effort also aims to cement the organization’s stature as an education leader amid industry changes.
