RGP acquires CloudGo, to merge with Veracity

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Global consulting firm Resources Connection, Inc. (RGP) has acquired 100% of the equity of CloudGo Pte Ltd. and its subsidiaries, collectively known as CloudGo. CloudGo will be merged with RGP’s Veracity arm, which aims to boost the mother company’s digital presence across the Asia Pacific region.
Kate Duchene, Chief Executive Officer of RGP, welcomed the acquisition, noting CloudGo’s expertise in delivering their clients’ needs with innovative solutions. She expects CloudGo to boost their global digital business.
RGP earlier reported a decrease in its net income to $54.4 million from $67.2 million in the full fiscal year ended in May 27, 2023.
“[CloudGo’s] capabilities strengthen our position as a full-service human capital partner and enhance our ability to meet the evolving needs of our global clients,” Duchene said.
“Importantly, this team aligns well with our rich culture of client centricity and always placing people first, and I’m very pleased to welcome CloudGo to the RGP family.”
CloudGo has operations in Singapore, Australia, and India with close to 80 employees, all of which will now be part of RGP. Through the acquisition, CloudGo will serve as RGP’s digital consulting business in the Asia Pacific. It was founded in 2016 by Rahul Garg and Rory Fitzpatrick.
Veracity was founded in 2015 and acquired by RGP in 2019. Headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia, it serves as RGP’s platform for its digital consulting services.
The current CloudGo executives will remain in the company. CloudGo’s Garg and Fitzpatrick will become regional managing directors. Fitzpatrick will lead ServiceNow business arm and will report to Veracity Chief Operating Office, Jon Bohlman.
