Riyadh Airport Company taps Cognizant for digital overhaul
NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES – Riyadh Airport Company (RAC) has appointed outsourcing firm Cognizant to propel its digital systems to streamline its day-to-day operations and enhance the traveler experience.
Cognizant will enhance the tech systems of RAC’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and business process automation capabilities. Key ERP departments such as finance, human resources, procurement, and planning will benefit from the systems upgrade.
Cognizant will specifically use the systems, applications, and products (SAP) Appian framework to establish resilient process automation for airport operations. Through this, Cognizant will aid RAC in enhancing its back-office functions to streamline operations, with the main objective of satisfying its customers.

The tech upgrade aligns with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s goal of welcoming over 100 million visitors by 2030. In its Vision 2030 roadmap, the Kingdom aims to increase the private sector’s contribution to Saudi GDP from 40% to 65% by the decade’s end.
This new collaboration with Cognizant supports the Kingdom’s vision to open new growth trajectories in the tourism sector.
