ROI CX Solutions acquires Active TeleSource, expands utilities reach

UTAH, UNITED STATES — Omnichannel customer experience services provider ROI CX Solutions has completed its acquisition of Active TeleSource, Inc. (“ATI”).
This merger brings together two customer experience powerhouses, combining ROI’s diverse industry expertise with ATI’s specialized utilities market knowledge.
Expanding services in the utilities sector
Founded in 1997, ATI has established itself as a leader in providing customer experience services for the electric, gas, and water utilities markets. The company offers a comprehensive suite of services, including regulated utility customer care, demand response and energy efficiency support, and assistance with low-income home energy assistance programs (LIHEAP).
“ATI is a leader in the highly attractive, stable utilities market which is benefiting from significant tailwinds,” said Rob Schow, CEO of ROI.
“ATI supercharges ROI’s growth in the utilities market to provide high-quality, domestic CX services within the regulated, mission-critical utility market.”
Synergies and growth opportunities
The merger is expected to create new opportunities for both companies. Gary Clark and Goran Samojlovski, Co-Founders of ATI, expressed their enthusiasm about joining ROI: “We see ATI joining ROI as a great opportunity to provide additional career pathways and growth for our team members and expand our service offering to our clients.”
“ROI is a like-minded company with a steadfast commitment to quality, which makes them the ideal partner to enhance the value we bring to the utility market,” they added.
Leveraging expertise and technology
ATI operates with a hybrid remote workforce, bringing expertise in both regulated and unregulated utility programs. The company adheres to guidelines set by the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and supports utility companies and community action agencies with LIHEAP-related services.
ROI CX Solutions, established in 2008, offers customized omnichannel customer care solutions across various industries, including healthcare, banking, financial services, insurance, and government. The company is PCI, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliant, specializing in inbound and outbound communications through multiple channels.
Impact on customer experience
This acquisition is expected to enhance the customer experience for utility clients. By combining ROI’s technology-enabled CX services with ATI’s specialized utility market knowledge, customers can expect improved support in areas such as:
- Technical call support
- Efficient help desk services
- Business phone answering
- Total customer care
- Inbound telemarketing
- Order completion
Looking ahead
While specific financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed, the merger positions ROI CX Solutions for significant growth in the utilities sector.
As the demand for high-quality customer experience services continues to rise, this strategic move is likely to benefit both companies and their clients in the long term.
