Salesforce forecasted to generate over 31K jobs in SA by 2026

Cloud computing software firm Salesforce is forecasted to generate 31,800 new jobs and earn a total of US$5.1 billion in company revenue in South Africa by 2026, according to market intelligence provider International Data Corporation (IDC).
This study comes as Salesforce Emerging Markets Vice-President Robin Fisher told ITWeb that they are planning to open their own office in the country.
Fisher stated that after operating in SA through its partners for over 10 years, the company plans to double down its commitment and investment in the country.
Salesforce offers customer relationship management service and a complementary suite of enterprise applications focused on customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development.
Additionally, the IDC report notes that Salesforce is accelerating growth for its partner ecosystem in SA, which is forecasted to generate US$6.31 for every dollar that the company earns locally by 2026.
