Select VoiceCom honored as top education stakeholder for CSR in Cebu

CEBU, PHILIPPINES — Select VoiceCom (SVC) has been recognized as one of the top stakeholders by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) Lapu-Lapu City Division for its “exemplary dedication to community-rooted and learner-centred initiatives,” highlighting the company’s growing role in supporting education in the region.
The ceremony awarded 16 stakeholders from 25 partner organizations in recognition of their contributions to public education last December 12, 2025 at the Crown Regency Suites and Residences.
SVC received praise for its work to enhance educational materials which benefit schools that lack sufficient resources thereby achieving a significant milestone for the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
Select VoiceCom’s donation drive empowers students
SVC’s Back-to-School Donation Drive last July 2025 drove the recognition as the company provided computers, clinic supplies, and essential school materials to students in Cebu.
A total of 200 students from four schools — including Agus, Buyong, and Soong elementary schools in Lapu-Lapu City — received essential learning tools that supported their academic progress and personal development.
“This recognition affirms our shared commitment to uplifting learners and supporting the communities where we operate,” said an SVC representative in a statement shared with Outsource Accelerator.
“We are grateful for our partnership with the DepEd Lapu-Lapu City Division and remain dedicated to expanding our impact through future education-focused initiatives,” SVC representative added.
SVC’s accounting officers attended the summit to accept the award on behalf of the company, underscoring the firm’s hands-on approach to community engagement.
Integrating CSR with outsourcing growth strategies
In relation to CSR initiatives, Select VoiceCom was recently recognized for its “THE SVC LEGACY: Bata, Bayani, Bukas” as a Bronze awardee in Community Building (Small) at the Outsourcing Impact Review (OIR) 2025 Awards by Outsource Accelerator.
The company is also currently subscribed as an Outsource Accelerator (OA) BPO Partner. Through OA’s Marketing, Sales, and Source Partner Hubs, the firm accesses a unified growth platform designed to convert high-intent prospects and accelerate deal flow in the outsourcing industry.
SVC’s ongoing initiatives reflect a broader philosophy that sustainable business growth is closely tied to meaningful community involvement.
The company shows how outsourcing firms can use CSR to build their brand reputation while expanding their business impact in local areas through their support of educational programs and community development initiatives.
For the outsourcing industry, the recognition of SVC demonstrates that companies now adopt CSR practices which they integrate into their business operations to create positive social impact, enhance employee commitment and community development.
Through their educational investments in local communities, SVC delivers their programs to create social progress while they develop a trained workforce which will drive future industry growth.
In this way, community engagement becomes both a social and strategic advantage, illustrating how the sector can expand beyond transactional services to meaningful, sustainable partnerships.
