ServicePoint acquires High Wire’s tech services division

NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES — Technology infrastructure services provider ServicePoint, a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital, has announced the acquisition of High Wire Networks Inc.’s Technology Services Division (HWTS).
This strategic move significantly enhances ServicePoint’s channel business and expands its service offerings in the technology solutions sector.
Strengthening ServicePoint’s market position in tech infrastructure services
The acquisition of HWTS, an Illinois-based company founded in 2000, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to ServicePoint’s portfolio.
HWTS specializes in providing multi-site deployment and technical solutions, primarily serving VARs, MSPs, MSSPs, system integrators, and IT consultancies. Their key services include networking solutions, unified communication installation, cabling services, and managed services.
“The acquisition of HWTS is highly complementary to ServicePoint as it continues to diversify our customer base and expands the service delivery team with great talent supporting our channel business,” said Jose Bernal, Chief Executive Officer of ServicePoint.
“We are thrilled that HWTS and its customers are joining the ServicePoint family.”
Expanding service capabilities and customer base of ServicePoint
ServicePoint is known for delivering innovative data center solutions and comprehensive audio-visual, IT, and managed services to global technology leaders. The company serves Fortune 500 clients both directly and through premier channel partners.
With the addition of HWTS, ServicePoint aims to strengthen its service portfolio and enhance its ability to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
Jeff Leventhal, Mill Point Executive Partner and Executive Chairman of ServicePoint, commented on the acquisition’s potential, saying, “HWTS has established a proven track record of dependable execution for its customers. We look forward to leveraging shared resources to strengthen our services portfolio.”
The acquisition comes at a time of growth for both companies. High Wire Networks reported a 2023 revenue of $27.0 million. This financial strength, combined with ServicePoint’s recent acquisition of SmartSource, positions the combined entity for significant market expansion.
