Siemens itroduces comprehensive security suite for industrial networks

BERLIN, GERMANY — Amidst growing cybersecurity challenges in industrial manufacturing, Siemens, a renowned technology entity, has unveiled its all-encompassing security testing suite named “SINEC Security Inspector”.
Designed to bolster cybersecurity in industrial communication networks, this suite amalgamates a variety of market-tested security tools into a singular user interface.
SINEC Security Inspector facilitates thorough scans of network components, segments, or the overarching infrastructure during allocated maintenance periods.
“Siemens SINEC Security Inspector brings a unique enhanced testing solution to the shopfloor and enables customers to check their entire IT/OT environment including all individual components,” said Michael Metzler, Vice President Horizontal Management Cybersecurity for Digital Industries at Siemens.
Notably, the SINEC suite is architectured as an open platform, integrating tools from other cybersecurity giants like Tenable, with plans to incorporate more third-party tools in the forthcoming phases.
