Sigli marks 10 years with DORA compliance, EU trademark, scholarships

ANTWERP, BELGIUM — Belgian technology firm Sigli marks its tenth anniversary by rolling out three major initiatives designed to boost its reputation for trust, compliance, and talent development across the European Union.
EU trademark secured, streamlining cross-border business
Sigli has completed EU-wide trademark registration, locking in its brand and logo across all member states. This eliminates multi-jurisdictional branding issues for its clients and underscores Sigli’s commitment to secure, consistent service delivery throughout Europe.
“Our IP is now as portable as our code,” Sigli Managing Director Roman Rimsa told Outsource Accelerator (OA).
The move is expected to streamline client engagement and ensure reliable supply chain partnerships across 27 EU countries and the UK.
DORA-ready solutions target regulated sectors
With the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) taking effect in January 2026, Sigli is introducing a DORA-focused service suite. The new service line includes threat modeling, cyber-range testing, and incident-response playbooks, all designed to help financial institutions comply with demanding new regulatory standards.
Early adopters include a Swiss lab-automation vendor and an automotive 3D configurator, both aligning with DORA’s Article 8.25 requirements for secure development life cycles.
The move solidifies Sigli’s role as a compliance enabler in regulated industries. The company emphasized that the offering integrates seamlessly with its existing AI delivery teams, allowing clients to transition from AI hype to regulated reality without operational disruption.
Talent expansion with trust at the core
Sigli is addressing Europe’s tech talent shortage through its “Code Without Barriers” scholarship, offering €4,600 (US$5,249.64) for underrepresented candidates in accredited programming courses.
However, the program enforces strict vetting—winners must pass a Certn background check before fast-track interviews, a policy now mandatory for all Sigli hires.
Talent Lead Inga Petrauskaite underscores that “Trust isn’t just an SLA metric; it starts with who we invite onto GitHub,” reflecting the company’s emphasis on security from recruitment onward.
To scale operations, Sigli has doubled headcount at its Vilnius engineering hub, leveraging local AI meetups and recruitment drives.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Antwerp, Sigli delivers AI-powered products and managed engineering teams for clients in finance, utilities, healthcare, and the public sector. Its 100+ specialists operate in nearshore European time zones, providing GDPR, ISO 27001, and DORA-grade compliance with rapid prototype-to-production delivery.
Sigli is also currently subscribed to the OA Source Partner Program, a powerful tool that helps business process outsourcing (BPO) firms with marketing, sales, and business intelligence.
