Sitel has now joined fellow business process outsourcing (BPO) companies to support the Call Centers Association of the Philippines (CCAP) fundraising project with Caritas Manila, called “Protect the Poor from COVID-19.”
CCAP pledged P4.3 million in donations to help over 1,600 less fortunate families battling the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We discovered Caritas Manila’s program early in the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), so we put out the call to our member companies and asked them to join us in raising funds. They responded immediately even when they also had their hands full with their own operations and workforce. Companies like Sitel and other BPOs still made a way amid the challenges to help people who were suffering,” CCAP Operations Director Jay Santisteban said.
