MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The global content technology enterprise Straive has opened its newest technology hub at Two/NEO Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Manila.

This expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to driving AI innovation and digital transformation in the Philippines.

Strategic growth and innovation

For over four decades, Straive has grown from being one of the oldest business process outsourcing (BPO) companies to one of the biggest providers of data services, content solutions, and AI-driven technology.

Today, the company is home to over 18,000 professionals who work across 19 centers spread across eight countries, which include the Philippines, India, Vietnam, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Nicaragua, and its headquarters in Singapore.

Industry impact and services

Straive is a technology-driven data and AI solutions company specializing in EdTech, research, and information services. The company’s service portfolio includes content creation, course design, data operations, and platform-based technology solutions, serving industries from education and financial services to healthcare and publishing.

The new BGC tech hub opening comes at a strategic time for the Philippine IT-BPM sector, which generated $32.5 billion in revenue in 2022, a 10.3% increase from the previous year.

IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines, Inc. (IBPAP) COO Celeste Ilagan, who attended the inauguration, emphasized the vital role of AI providers in accelerating industry growth.

The event brought together key industry leaders, including PEZA Deputy Director General Vivian Santos and Adamson University President Fr. Danny Pilario, CM, for discussions centered on Straive’s AI-focused future. The panel explored how AI and automation are reshaping industries and the impact of evolving workforce dynamics.

This expansion is part of Straive’s continued investment in the Philippines’ digital infrastructure and its commitment to fostering technological innovation. With its comprehensive suite of services and growing presence in the region, Straive is well-positioned to contribute to the Philippine IT-BPM sector’s projected growth of $59 billion in revenue by 2028.
